I am a clinical nurse specialized in cardiac care at the University hospital in Lund, Sweden. I am also a PhD-student at Lund University since 2019. I am in the beginning of my career in this amazing field of transplantation, heart transplantation in particular.
I have a special interest in symptom management and symptom distress among heart recipients after heart transplantation, which is the major topic of my ongoing PhD-studies. I also have a specific interest in person centered care which I think is the future and hopefully I can share that insight and competence with the other members of the YPT.
I am looking forward to this assignment. Being a member of YPT and working both as a clinical nurse as well as a PhD-student gives me the opportunity to spread the aims and goals of the board into these both fields.
