Aiko de Vries MD, PhD is an internist-nephrologist and medical director of kidney and pancreas transplantation. He is vice chair of LUMC Transplant Center with responsibility for clinical ward, finance, and value based health care (VBHC). He was trained at Harvard Business School in Managing Health Care Delivery and VBHC. His research focuses on improving (long-term) transplant outcomes.
