The 2024 edition of the HESPERIS Course took place in Valencia, Spain, on 4-6 April 2024. The programme included lectures on both foundational and hot topics in transplantation, break-out sessions, group discussions, and interactive case study presentations. In this dynamic and interactive live environment, participants gained first-hand knowledge from some of the most experienced professionals in the transplant field.
The course sessions covered topics in transplant immunology, organ donation and preservation, recipient evaluation and management – including a special module on post-transplant infections – regenerative medicine, and person-centred care.
