EPITA is established to provide a forum for those working in the field of pancreas and islet of Langerhans transplantation or any other alternative form of beta cell replacement in Europe, to exchange scientific information and views related primarily to providing the best service for patients in Europe requiring pancreas or islet transplantation.
VCA has opened a new era in the field of transplantation, reconstructive and restorative surgery. This Section brings together 10 representatives of major European teams at the forefront in this field.

About: At the National Federation of Liver Patients and Transplant Patients (FNETH) we work to achieve a society that is sensitive, aware and informed about organ donation and diseases that lead to liver transplantation. A society in which all liver patients and transplant recipients have the same opportunities, regardless of their socio-economic status, and have equal access to the specialised care they require anywhere in Spain. To this end, FNETH works with the scientific community at a national level, together with the Spanish Association for the Study of the Liver (AEEH) and the Spanish Society of Liver Transplantation (SETH) and also with the associative community, belonging to COCEMFE in Spain and to the European Liver Patients Association (ELPA) at an international level.
