Hannah studied Medicine at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Following her approbation as medical doctor she began her specialty training in General and Transplant surgery in Innsbruck, Austria. Hannah then moved to Edinburgh to start her PhD investigating biliary regeneration in the setting of liver transplantation
