Dr Irum Amin is a Consultant Transplant Surgeon specialising in kidney, pancreas and intestinal transplantation at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, UK.
She studied Medicine at the University of Cambridge. Her Master’s thesis investigated the role of Microdialysis in Liver Transplantation to assess graft function and rejection.
Dr Amin has a keen interest in education and training and is currently the clinical lead for the Cambridge Surgical training centre, member of Vanguard Committee (UEMS Transplant), Vanguard Committee (UEMS Equality, Diversity, Inclusion), IRTA education committee and faculty for the UEMS transplant surgery preparatory course.
