Aim
The Triple “C” Course is an advanced course in donation and transplantation for co-ordinators, organized by the European Donation Committee (EDC) of ESOT. The course aims to provide insight and tools, in addition to existing educational programmes on donation on a local/regional or national level.
Target group
The course focuses on Deceased Donor Co-ordinators (DDC), Living Donor Co-ordinators (LDC) and Clinical Transplant Co-ordinators (CTC) with:
- an accomplished basic training in their function,
- a current position as co-ordinator,
- a minimum of three years of experience in the position of co-ordinator.
Late Application procedure
Applicants will be required to upload:
- Curriculum Vitae
- recommendation of a supervisor or chief of department
- statement of good comprehension of the English language
- three assertions related to the topics of the course (communication, risk factors and/or management issues in donation or transplantation).

You can apply for this course in the ESOT Member Avenue. You have to be either a Temporary member or a full ESOT Member to receive access to the Member Avenue.

Selection procedure
The course is limited to 40 participants selected from the three categories of co-ordinators, as defined in the target group. Although the course is open to non-members, priority in the selections is given to ESOT Members.
The allocated number of seats in a given country or region, is determined according to the number of organ transplantations performed in this country or region during the last decade.
Organization
The Triple “C” Course will be organized every year, in a different European country, by ESOT in collaboration with the National organization. The course in Schlangenbad is organized in collaboration with DSO – Deutsch Stiftung Organtransplantation. The course is made possible due to a grant by ESOT.
Registration fee
ESOT member € 150
NEW members € 200 (including 1 year ESOT membership)*
Non- members € 250
The fee includes:
- course tuition, 3 nights accommodation
- transfer from/to Frankfurt airport on designated days
- all meals and soft drinks
- certificate of attendance
- * one year of ESOT regular membership for participants applying for membership before
or at the time of application
The fee does not include:
- travel cost to/from Frankfurt airport
